View Specs →A belt-over-roller conveyor, also called a roller bed belt conveyor, carries a continuous belt over a series of supporting rollers. The conveyed product still rides on a belt surface, but the rollers beneath that belt reduce sliding friction compared with a stationary slider bed.
Reduced belt drag can make roller bed construction a strong starting point for heavier unit loads, longer powered runs, and applications whose length, speed, or duty cycle would create excessive friction on a slider bed.
